Sebastian Linsin

Sebastian Linsin is a historian of the built environment with an emphasis on the entanglements of urban planning, real estate, and grassroots activism, predominantly in North America and Southeast Asia during the 1960s and 1970s. Prior to joining Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main as a research associate (PostDoc) in the DFG Research Group “Organizing Architectures”, he served as an urban planner in the suburbs of Zurich and as a research assistant both at the Future Cities Laboratory (Singapore ETH Center) and the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta, ETH Zurich). Sebastian holds a Master’s degree in Architecture (2015) and a PhD (2024) from ETH Zurich.
