Mike Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and German Literature from the University of Zurich (2017-2020). In autumn of 2023, he completed a Master’s degree in Curatorial Studies in Frankfurt, a cooperative study program between Goethe University Frankfurt and the Hochschule für Bildende Künste-Städelschule. His master’s thesis, Konforme/s Gestalten – Skulpturale Texturen an der Expo 64 in Lausanne (1964), was awarded the Cellini Master Prize (Benvenuto Cellini-Gesellschaft e.V.). During the summer semester of 2024, Mike Bill was a research assistant in the Department of Art History at the University of Siegen, where he held a seminar on contemporary exhibition history. In addition to his academic work, Mike Bill works as an art educator at the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt, among others, and is active as a curator.
