“Kontroverse Architekturen” is a series of events organized by the interdisciplinary Research Training Group “Organizing Architectures” in cooperation with the Volkshochschule Frankfurt (Adult Education Center) as part of Frankfurt World Design Capital 2026. The events are an invitation to Frankfurt’s urban society to reflect on our shared urban realities with the researchers of the Research Training Group and guests from various fields. As an interface between research and broad social debate, the series aims to establish a two-way exchange and explore architecture as a defining element of coexistence and as an object of social negotiation processes.
